Well worth a visit if your coming to Christchurch, a proper pub with friendly staff and reasonably priced beer. Always a fun lively atmosphere and good pub grub. Good young persons local pub with relaxed atomsphere and can get very busy on a Friday/Saturday night but in a good way! Very differnt to Soho crowd. Live music on certain nights which gets lively. This is a great pub to relax in with its "anything goes" attitude. Been here several times each time having quite a different experience depending on what they have going on at the time. One time is was quiz night and tapas very chilled out, whereas it can get very busy on a saturday night. I love this place. Its food is wonderful and the beer "Patio" is really nice on sunny day to sit outside and have tapas. Such a relaxes atmosphere. This is the best proper pub in Christchurch. Live music on Wednesdays and Sundays. You have to like the spit and sawdust ambience though.
