What a relief for Highcliffe to have a modern contemporary pub that seems to be aimed at the younger "grownups". The interior is clean, fresh and stylish and the exterior offers a great children's play area. The atmosphere is pleasant, and sometimes lively. The bar staff are polite and friendly.

The Galleon
A large pub with lots of comfortable seating. The decor is briht and clean. I often meet my friend there and it's a relaxing atmosphere. The food is good with a varied menu. Nice area out the back with a large children's area.

Just what Highcliffe needed
Highcliffe was really in need of a place like the Galleon. It ticks all boxes when it comes to Food, entertainment, atmosphere and somewhere to take the kids on a sunny afternoon. The play area out the back has enough to keep the children amused while the mum and dads can relax with a drink. Highly recommend it!!

A family friendly pub,with modern interior,recently refurbished to a high standard.A good outside area with childrens play area.Live music there most weekends,a good place to socialise

The Galleon
Since the pub opened in Spring 2009, it has refreshing modern interior for Highcliffe. Nice relaxing bar area to have a drink and formal area for dining in a huge conservatory. Friendly bar staff with some live music at the weekends. Child friendly garden with play area, great for the summer months.

Really Nice Pub
The Galleon has had a makeover in recent years and is now a really nice family friendly pub, great interior decor, nice atmosphere, we went recently and they had a good guitarist with a few people up dancing. I have not eaten here yet but ive heard the food is quite good. There is also a nice outdoor play area for the children.

The Galleon Pub & Diner
This is a lovely family friendly pub with great food. You can eat lovely home cooked non microwaveable food in the restaurant or enjoy a coffee or a drink on a sofa by the lovely fire which is very laid back.

Has great kids play area outside with slides, swings, connect 4 and giant jenga

Also has good theme evenings such as poker night, curry night and quiz nights

Give it a go!!!

The Galleon
Highcliffe's best pub by far. Relaxed atmosphere, nice mixture of people. Lovely clean interior, safe garden with childrens play area. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for any occasion and suitable for all ages. Only eaten there once which was a group booking at Christmas time, food was really good value and service was excellent.
